Well what a week Moonbeam class have had. On Monday the children continued to learn about Good Friday and re-enacted the main events. The children designed and started to make their moving house picture.
On Tuesday the children learnt about Easter Monday and wrote a diary extract from the view of one of the disciples. The children finished off their moving house picture and then we enjoyed our Easter assembly. (I’m sure you will agree the singing was amazing.)
On Wednesday we enjoyed our class trip to MFA bowling, the children had a wonderful morning and a few strikes were had! Ela top the bowling competition with an impressive score of 138. We had an Easter craft afternoon in which we made egg wands and spring flowers.
On Thursday we had a breakfast with the Easter bunny and made some chocolate nests and baskets from them to sit in. In the afternoon we made Easter cards with Mrs Gibson and decorated some Easter biscuits with Miss Duckworth.
Friday our last morning before the Easter holidays. We paraded our Easter bonnets in assembly and the teacher picked some winners from each class. Mrs Soole judged the egg competition with some very impressive entries. The attendance party was a great success and very choctacular! Have a wonderful Easter break and don’t eat too much chocolate!
