The children have worked really hard this week. On Monday it was St George's day so we looked at the story of George and the dragon and talked about St George's day. The children came to school wearing red, white and blue clothes. Over the week we have re-capped the story and made flags and dragons. The children did some fantastic writing telling us what they remember about St George.
This week during our maths lessons we have been recognising numbers on a 100 square. If you see numbers while you are out and about like door numbers, reg plate numbers and numbers on signs ask your child what the number is.
On Thursday we had an active morning, we did some skipping and balancing activities outside then had our yoga session.
We have talked a lot about road safety and we have all made posters to tell people where is safe to park. The PTFA are running a competition. The winning poster will be put up outside school.
Our star of the week is Kayden
Our merit certificate winners are Harvery and Patryk.
This week the yoga teacher picked Maddison and Etienne for super effort in yoga.
