Ottoline and the Yellow Cat.
What a fantastic week we have had in English. We have continued learning about Ottoline and her mystery novel. We have written extracts from her notebook and made some fantastic postcards.
Mixed Up Mathematics
Mathematics this week has been lots of different topics each day, we have rounded numbers to the neartest 100, we have learnt the months of the years and how many days, we have usedRoman numerals, equivalent fractions and missing number problems.
Cave Cave Cave
We have continued our studies on Stone Age living and created a lovely classroom display in the style of the cave paintings.
What else have we done?
SPAG has been all about ADVERBS! Adding key detail to verbs. In PE we have learnt some new playground games and played a huge game of football. In RE we learnt more about Jonah and the Big Fish for our display. In Art with Mrs Miller we created Satained Glass Windows. In Science we learnt about the job of the roots and stem.

Evie won a merit for being amazing, Leon won a merit for concentration. Jack Traynor is STAR OF THE WEEK. Mr Bamber got HEADTEACHER'S AWARD.
