What a busy 4 days we have had in Rainbow class. So busy in fact that we have forgotten to post our blog together! 

 

This week we have been revising our written methods in mathematics as well as applying these skills to solving maths word problems. The children have been working SO hard and the progress they have made has astounded me - well done everyone! 

 

In English we have focussed on our reading skills again, answering questions about a text and retrieving key information. Part of our homework this week is a reading comprehension about spiders. 

 

Next week we are off to the cinema on Thursday as a treat for working so hard in the run up to the SATs. The children do not need to bring anything with them and they must be wearing school uniform. Lunch will still be eaten at school. 

 

Star of the week this week is Skye and our merit certificate winners are Lily-May and Mikquell.
