This week we have enjoyed more time outside enjoying the sunshine and our outdoor environment. We have been learning how to play nicely with the outdoor toys, sharing with our friends, and not mixing the materials up. Niamh and Hannah painted some beautiful spring pictures on the outdoor easel, these really made us feel happy.
We have continued with our spring topic, writing more spring poems and collaging spring pictures.
We have had lots of visitors this week. On Tuesday we had a Jujitsu lesson, which we really enjoyed. Trying new things is a great experience for us all. Justyna and Adam were really enthusiastic during this lesson. Yesterday we had our weekly football session which was outside in the sunshine for a nice change. We also had an exciting afternoon making Easter baskets and doing an egg hunt with the Princes Trust young people yesterday afternoon. Well done to Sapphire who made a lovely basket and to Niamh for spotting the most eggs.
Thank you to those of you who came to parents evening, it was lovely to share the children’s achievements with you all. I’m sure you’ll agree the children have come on leaps and bounds!
Our star of the week is Niamh
Our certificates this week go to Lucas and Hope for a huge improvement with effort in their class work, being helpful and kind to others.
Our football star this week is Amelia.
We hope you have a lovely weekend and enjoy your mothers day gifts that the children have spent a lot of time making for you.
