This week has been shorter but jam packed full of fun and exploration.
On Tuesday morning we paired up to go hunting for bugs around the school grounds. The children were all amazing at this, finding the bugs hidey holes and favourite places. Sapphire and Ellie were superb, as were Lillie and Grace . Following the bug hunt we tallied up our findings to see which bugs we have more of in our school. Spiders, worms and woodlouse were top of the charts.
We have done some fabulous writing about what we found, written riddles to guess the minibeast and painted our favourite bugs too.
On Tuesday we had our singing assembly and Wednesday was our music with Mrs Bennett who said "Sunshine class is fantastic, the children all listen really well"
Yesterday we had our football session and today we've joined up with year 4 again to develop our ball skills. All in all a pretty brilliant week.
Next week we will be carrying on our minibeast theme, we will be looking at doubling numbers and what bugs need to survive.
Well done to our certificate winners. Sapphire is our star this week. Noah has really impressed Mrs Bradley for improvement with his reading and Jamie has done some fantastic writing this week.
