The final week of this term has been full of bugs and minibeasts. The children have been finding out facts about the creepy crawlies they have found by looking at them through magnifying glasses and observing their movements. Most children have made clay representations of bugs and painted their hands and feet to make symmetrical butterflies. In maths we have been doubling numbers, adding 2 digit numbers and forming teen numbers.
Sunshine class have been active this week; practicing for sports day, (weds 5th June 1:30pm) playing football and rounders. Well done to for winning the certificate off Lloyd from AFC Fylde on Thursday.
As it is the end of term again we have counted up how many times your child has read this term at home. Well done to Hope, Niamh, Justyna, Lillie, Hannah and Ellie-Mae for reading at least 3 times a week (if not more) and earning their reward.
Today children have brought home letters with all the dates on for next half term, you will see it is a very busy term. They also have letters for an optional fun trip to Blackpool zoo. Please send slips and money back as soon as possible after the half term if you wish your child to go.
Well done to Esme for star of the week this week. Our certificates go to Jamie for being brave and Viaan for being nice and kind to his friends in Sunshine class.
Have a lovely half term!
See you back on Monday 3rd June at 9am
