This week has been another busy week with lots of highlights.

It has been walk to School week, where lots of children have cycled, scootered, walked or parked and walked to School. We have also been completing the mile a day in stages over the week and doing lots of games and activities to make sure our bodies stay healthy.

On Wednesday morning Mrs Bennett was in for our Music lesson and we performed a barn dance in the hall. In the afternoon the children gardened with Mrs Miller and they had enormous amounts of fun. Please take a look at the pictures below in our gallery of our afternoon.

On Thursday we were able to have Sports day due to the wonderful weather we had. The children all did amazingly well and tried their best. We enjoyed taking part in the running race, bean bag on the head and the egg and spoon race. Well don’t to blue team who won overall in School and to Oskar, who we chose as our super sports star, of the day.

On Friday, we all enjoyed watching the charity football match watching the staff and parents teams. Both teams played exceptionally well in the heat and we loved cheering them all on.

This week has been very hot but the children have still been putting in 100% effort into their work, including measuring time and using stopwatches in Maths, independent descriptive writing in English, BeeBots coding in computing, Map work in Geography and team building skills in P.E.

Our star of the week this week is Toby.

Our merit certificate winners are Maddison and Kayden.

Footballer of the week is Ines.
