We have had another busy week. Here are the things we have been doing.
Phonics
This week we have been writing in full sentences as independently as possible. We have been learning what capital letter look like. We have also re-capped the ay, air, and ear sounds.
Mrs Bradley has been checking we have been reading and has listened to us all read week.
Maths
We have continued being very clever and have been reading and writing 2 digit numbers to 100 with Mrs Hudson we have continued organising our days.
Library visit
On Tuesday we all went to the library and read books. We found out how to look after the books and learnt clever words like author and spine.
Gardening
On Wednesday Mrs Miller took us outside to do some gardening around school. We pulled out weeds and planted pretty flowers.
Football
On Thursday Lloyd came in for football, we practiced our dribbling skills and spatial awareness.
Well done Hannah who was our footballer of the week this week.
Sports day
Luckily the weather held up for sports day to finally go ahead. Our first sports day was a lot of fun, we enjoyed egg and spoon, running and bean bag on the head. We choose Ethan for our sportsmanship award. And said a huge congratulations to the blue team for winning this year.
