Going For Gold

We have had a very busy half term in Gold Class. So busy in fact that this is the first blog that we have done. We have had lots of fun, hard work and some tears during the past 6 weeks. Today has been an excellent day for all the children in the class. We have been taking part in our annual sponsored event – Going For Gold.

All the children in Gold class have been sponsored to walk / run a mile on a tread mill, cycle a mile on an exercise bike and then to finish the day we have walked a mile around the school.

A massive well done to all the children for their efforts. We hope that all the sponsors will donate their money so that Gold Class can use the money to enhance their classroom and learning experiences.

Next week some maths quizzes (tests) and creating an anthology of poetry based upon the poetry style of Ted Hughes.

Don’t forget parents evening on Tuesday 15th.
