Full steam ahead in Gold class.

In English this week we have been working on a fictional recount. We looked at Vampire bats and Mosquitos. These 2 creatures drink blood from humans to survive. We wrote a recount of our ‘fictional’ encounter of one of these.

This week’s Maths started with working out mean numbers. This is a very difficult subject in Maths but we gave it our best effort. We also looked at graphs, pie charts and percentages (we are in SATS mode now).

We had to work out what is a light source and what is reflective light in Science this week. Did you know that we can only see the Moon because of the light that reflects off it from the Sun.

In Geography we researched how China contributed to the world’s economy. They help produce many different components for all sorts of technological equipment.

PE was hard work this week. We did some stamina training, which was hard but rewarding.

On Thursday we had our annual World Book Day. Minions was the theme for the day and the school was awash with yellow. With Gru and Dru running amuck around school, it was a fun filled day that everyone got involved in.

Another weeks hard work on its way, but first a nice relaxing weekend.
