Still going with the SAT’s practice.
In Gold class this week we have been working on our Maths and English. This is so we are as ready for SAT’s as we can be.
In English we have been working on our ‘Give Blood’ campaign. We looked at books, posters, websites and TV adverts to see which would be the best way to get the word out. We got into small groups and started working on two different ways of advertising.
In Maths we looked at quadrants, coordinates and missing angles. We used coordinates to draw different shapes on a grid and then drew each shape into a different quadrant using both translate and reflection. Then we finished our week of Maths off with some missing angle problems between 180° to 360°.
In PE we played some bench ball (always a class favourite). Each coloured team (blue, red, green, yellow) played each other.
Friday was Sports Relief day. We all got to come to school in sports clothes. We did some sporting activities throughout the day including going on the bouncy castles.
Hope everyone have a lovely, safe weekend.
