This week has been a busy week in year 5. We have continued to work hard on our maths skills. Each day we have been working through some start of the day activities which concentrate on our basic skills. In English we have been reading and studying poems written by Charles Causley and Michael Rosen. We have then written our own.

This week in DT with Miss Hall we tasted lots of different curry sauces with some rice. This was great fun and very tasty.

Our maths task on Active learn this week is ‘Get The Yeti 5.7’

Today , Friday, is Children In Need Day. We have been decorating biscuits and joining in with other activities this afternoon. Most of us wore yellow or with spots. A few of us had both yellow and spots.

This week lots of us also had our Flu inoculations. Staff had injections and children had the Flu nasal spry.
