This week in Bronze Class we have been learning about shape in Mathematics. Today, we focussed on recognising and naming 3D shapes in our local environment. We were very good at finding real life examples of 3D shapes around us. Jamie and Hope even found a pyramid on top of the school (the roof!). Have a look at our gallery to see some of the shapes we found around us!

In PE we have been exploring shapes in Gymnastics. The children learnt how to hold the pike, straddle and tuck shapes and explored using different body parts to help them balance. Esme and Iyla both chose to hold the pike shape on their shoulders and did an amazing job. Niamh was able to model to the class how to hold many of the shapes too! See our PE gallery below to see what we have been getting up to!
