What a creative week we have had. We have enjoyed making our own scarecrows Harry and Betty from the story; using a variety of different tools, resources and techniques.

After finding out all about weddings, we have made our own wedding cards and a delicious wedding cake. We even acted out the story in class. Please see our galleries for the photographs of our super work.

We have spent lots of time on phonics this week learning new sounds m,d,g,o and we are getting really clever at putting sounds together to make words. Everybody has read in school at least twice this week and we have covered different reading skills in our key groups.

In PE we continued with our football skills, learning how to dribble and have more control over the ball. This week Ruby won the certificate.
