This week started off with a really exciting visit to the farm that came to school. We enjoyed looking at the animals and finding out all about them. We did some writing about our favourite animal and learned how to use question marks on the end of a question.

Our story this week was “Billy’s Bucket”. This was a great story to find out about animals under the sea. We made our own buckets of sea animals and did some more fantastic writing using commas to separate the items in the list.

We have done lots of reading and more Phonics working on sounds we still need a bit of help with.

On Thursday morning we had our football session again. We are getting really good at finding spaces and working with others.

In Maths we have been working on finding and grouping odd and even numbers. This is quite a tricky thing to do so we will carry on with it next week.

Lots of people have been a bit poorly this week so we have been really kind looking after each other and have missed our friends if they have been off school. Hopefully everybody will be much better by Monday ready for our Road Safety week next week.
