Moonbeam Class

Welcome to Moonbeam Class! This is our home for the next year, where you can find all the up to date information about what is happening in our class. My name is Mrs Hudson and I am the class teacher and our teaching assistants are Miss Mason and Miss Jones 

We have 25 children in Moonbeam class and we are dedicated to providing the very best learning and nurturing environment for all children. We have an indoor and outdoor area to work in and we will be accessing the outdoors throughout the year. Please make sure your child has appropriate clothing for all times of year.

This year our P.E lessons are on a Tuesday and Thursday morning and the children will need to come to school in their full P.E kits, please can I ask parents to take out their child's earrings or bring in tape so we can cover them up for PE If you require any assistance with this, please do not hesitate to ask.

Please ensure reading books are in your child's book bags so we can change them regularly and read with the children. We encourage the children to read every night at home to build their confidence and practise their decodable knowledge and application of Phonics sounds. Our spelling tests will be on a Friday morning and new spellings will be sent out each Friday for the following week. Spellings can be found in your child’s spelling record or on our spelling tab. Their is optional homework on the home learning tab attached to our class page.
