In English this week we have been looking at poetry. Reading poems about how we change when we grow up. 

In Maths we have been counting on using 100 squares and number lines.

In Science we having been learning about deciduous and evergreen trees. We went for a walk around school and the local area looking at different trees and which kind of leaves they have.

In Geography we talked about the dangers of weather. How weather affects the things we do and what types of weather could be dangerous. 

          'When it's snowing the cars can skid' (Caroline)

          'When there is a storm the plants die' (Leo)

          'In the sun we need to wear cream' (Alan)

In P.E we did orienteering. The children worked in teams, they had to read the map and identify different symbols.

In R.E we started learning about Islam. We looked at the story of Muhammed.

The children have new homework books for this term. Each week the children need to choose something off the homework web as well as doing the big talk homework. Each Friday the children will also get spellings to learn which will be tested the following Friday.
