Sadly Mrs Keating has been absent this week and will be off next week too, so Mrs Parkinson has been teaching Moonbeam class this week. Throughout the week we have worked really hard getting ready for our Phonics screening tests, which will be next week.
We have enjoyed being outdoors a lot this week, and our challenges in the outdoor classroom have been accepted with enthusiasm.
Jack and Conner played a great game of dinosaur phonics; collecting sound stones, only if they could think of words with the sounds in.
Dylan and Nevaeh have enjoyed playing high frequency word Jenga.
Ela, Emily and Charley have made some brilliant spells up, turning Mrs Parkinson into a glitter dragon.
Sophia and Emily did some fabulous window writing, thinking very carefully about the sounds in words.
Yesterday we enjoyed our Football session with Dan. Ela was fantastic with her ball skills. We have also practised for sports day. We hope you have all seen the event on the website and Facebook informing you that this years sports day is scheduled for Tuesday 19th June at 1:30pm.
Thank you to those of you who have supported with reading and homework this week, it is much appreciated.
Well done to our star of the week Eliza.
Our certificates go to Sophia and Nevaeh
