This week we have been super busy! Here is a what we have been learning with Miss Heaton:

 

Mathematics

“We have been weighing different things using cubes and then weighing scales” –Ada

“When we had weighed the toys we drew a graph to show this.” – Darcy

 

English 

“During English we have been looking at different places to live and we compared them to where we live.” –Mikquell

“We have been looking at writing a list using commas and how to write a question.” – Skye

 

Computing

“We have been using a programme called Scratch to learn about coding, I have really enjoyed this”- Philip

“Using Scratch we have been changing the background and adding in new characters. I liked doing this and added a background saying ‘Scratch Rocks’.” –Daniel

 

History

“We have been looking a Victorian Seasides and had a look at what punch and judy is. We made our own puppets” – Arham

“As a class we have worked together to make a puppet theatre” – Esther

“In the Victorian times they wore different clothes than us to the beach.” – Nicole C

“I designed a rabbit puppet for the puppet show” – Alice

 

We also got to take part in sports day on Tuesday Afternoon. We all thoroughly enjoyed the races and cheering on our class.

Star of the week this week is Alan, merit certificate winners are Reegan and Alice. Also Arham was awarded the sports day special award. Over the weekend, if you have any empty boxes please save these and send into school on Monday.
