After 2 full days in Sunshine class we are feeling extremely proud of how wonderful and settled the children seem. We have had a very busy couple of days exploring our new classroom and touring the school to find people we know and who might be able to help us. We hope you enjoyed seeing the photographs on Facebook of all their smiley faces.

In their reading bags tonight are the children’s first reading books. Please encourage your child to make up their own story using the pictures and ask lots of questions about what the characters may be doing.

Also in reading bags tonight is your children’s homework books. These have a few simple tasks to complete before next Friday. Please note we have requested photographs to display on a family leaf for the classroom. If this is a struggle please speak to Mrs Parkinson.

We are excited to see what fun next week brings as we continue getting to know one another, building relationships and exploring the environment.
