This week has been our harvest celebration week. We have enjoyed making our own big red combined harvester to drive around during the harvest assembly. Thank you to all of you for the food donations and for coming to the assembly to celebrate with us.
We have continued finding out about people who help us, we have looked at all the different jobs of a police officer and hopefully will have a visit from a real life policeman very soon.
Earlier in the week we went for a walk around the local environment to find people who help us in our community. We saw taxis, bus drivers, community gateway drivers, refuse collectors, doctors, pharmacists, road workers, delivery drivers, builders and fire safety workers. The children were extremely well behaved and very observant on this walk.
We have continued looking at shapes, the children have been introduced to more flat 2D shapes. We have looked at rectangles, semi circles, ovals, Pentagons, hexagons and diamonds. Some children are very good at identifying the properties of these shapes.
In football yesterday the children's skills improved with dribbling and spacial awareness. Our certificate went to........
